Updated: Nov 4, 2020

About us

Science Club International is an umbrella organisation that brings together the network of teams where the Clubes de Ciencia program operates: Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Spain and USA. Our mission is to spark a social transformation by expanding access to high-quality STEM education and collaborative, international networks. We aim to expose students to scientific, educational experiences in an international environment.

About SCI’s 2021 Online Edition

This year SCI was awarded 1 of 7 public engagement grants of the American Society for Cell Biology. We are organizing an online event, due to the COVID pandemic, with the collaboration of the eight Clubes de Ciencia teams. We aim to have an international event that brings together our community.

This edition will be 4-day long (February 27-28, March 6-7, 2021). We will deliver 8 free online clubes for high school and college students in Ibero-America in diverse topics at the frontier of science. These clubes will be taught in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

If you are passionate about teaching and STEM outreach, graduate student, postdoctoral researcher or young scientist that speaks Spanish and English, Portuguese and English and preferably if you have collaborated with us before, join us in the SCI’s 2021 Online Edition!

Our open call is still available until November 7, 2020. If you want to apply, fill this form.
